"Futures of Education" is UNESCO's global initiative to reimagine how knowledge and learning can shape the future of humanity and the planet. By leveraging the collective intelligence of a wide range of stakeholders, the Forum aims to engage with all, to think together so we can act together to construct the futures we want.
The Peacemaker’s Cultural Celebration is a yearly programme on the theme of Peace and Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). It serves as a platform for community-based activities that encourage intercultural dialogues. The programme aims to promote peace and the global 17 SDGs to youth and the public. Through a series of Peace and cultural workshops and activities, the programme celebrates the cultural diversity of Hong Kong and offer a valuable opportunities to build peace and harmony.
While fragile, intangible cultural heritage (ICH) is an important factor in maintaining cultural diversity in the face of growing globalization. An understanding of the ICH of different communities helps with intercultural dialogue, and encourages mutual respect for different ways of life.
